The Cuban missile crisis was a time of great fear in America. This started with the Russians sending nuclear bombs to Cuba, knowing this America was frightened that any day at any time Cuba could wipe out most to all Americans. The United States and J.F.Kennedy had 12 days to decide what to do about this issue before the bombs were ready and armed. This all ended with the Russians and Americans agreeing to certain terms. The main idea in this treaty was: to get Russia to pull all nuclear weapons out of Cuba and 6 months later America will pull their nuclear weapons out of Turkey.
